The Introduction of the Special Issue

With the development of Mobile Edge Computing（MEC） and intelligent control technology, the new intelligent control theory or algorithm  which relies on the centralized control of the access point could not meet the demand of “connect everything”.

MEC provides mobile and cloud computing capabilities within the access network, and aims to unite the mobile network edge. It is a new network architecture concept that offers a service environment with high-bandwidth, and direct access to real-time network information. New intelligent control theory or algorithm has emerged as a promising paradigm to provide pervasive computing and storage services for mobile and big data applications.

Submitted articles should not be published or under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.
